The Green Building Innovation Awards

 The Green Building Innovation Awards is established by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China (MOHURD). As an authoritative prize in the green building field in China to recognize and award annual innovations in green building, the awards are presented by the MOHURD according to Green Building Innovation Awards Management Rules, Specific Measures for Implementation of the Green Building Innovation Awards and the Criteria for the Selection of the Green Building Innovation Awards to actively guide and push forward the sound development of green buildings. The awards are handed out every two years and have become the most authoritative influential prize for green buildings in China.

The Shanghai Tower project adopts the “building + zone + city” design approach which coordinates climate and environment with humanism taken into account and stood out from a number of entries, thus bagging the first prize in the Green Building Innovation Awards 2020.
